Its MyspacE

This web site has been a much welcomed opportunity to bring to the world a little of what I have done and seek to do with my life and work. I don't know about you but I love the freedom to express myself in this way....without the usual 'clients', 'publishers' or 'broadcasters' to tell me what to do do or say. For better or worst, this is 'my' page. It is precisely what I want to say at this moment in time....and I am prepared to stand or fall on it's popularity with you and others. For me the internet is a breath of fresh air. It is an opportunity to bring the world closer, a vehicle for free speech and something to do on a cold, wet, lonely night. It also allows you to see me for what I am....a driven individual who, the older he gets, the more he seeks to be a child again!

Becoming a 3D Animator

I almost never got to do 3D at all. I originally saw myself taking Commercial Advertising in College, since I thought that was the field where I could best apply my love for drawing. Back then, 3D animation was not quite as big as it is today. After completing my collage I went to UTV toons Animation studio & start through different courses the UTV offered, I came across a 3D animation course. It ended up becoming a draw between that or Creative Advertising, but I eventually chose the former rather than the latter. To this very day, I still thank my lucky stars that I chose what I chose because I have heard from a few friends in advertising that it is in a slump right now.

What is Animation ?

What is animation? Animation is the art of brining something to life. How it's brought to life can be done any number of different ways. It can be drawn, or you can make a model of it and move it, like in "The Nightmare Before Christmas." You can put it on a computer, like Toy Story. Or you can cut out bits of paper and move the paper, like (yech) South Park (the original one anyways). You can even move whole people around, photographing them one frame at a time, so they can move without walking. All of these are different forms of animation.
